11/08/2020· 5-axis Milling is not an easy thing to do. I know I still need to find a robust way to zero the machine before I start cutting. Maybe add probes to make some basic homing and calibration possible. But I think overall this project was a nice and productive way of putting some really advanced CNC techniques to the test.
Another reason I need a CNC milling machine is to make parts for my business. I currently have several parts machined from a 3rd party source and I would like to bring those parts in house so I have better control over the finished product.
